Tips and Tricks to Strenghten Your Writing
Writing takes a lot of imagination and a lot of time. You can always improve your skills, and the best way to do this is to practice every single day.
J.K. Rowling, the author of the legendary Harry Potter Series, wrote all the Potter ideas on napkins at restaurants. When the ideas come to you, you must write them down! You do not want to lose that idea that you thought of late at night staring at the wall.
Of course you may know, reading is one of the best ways to improve your writing. Learning about all sorts of genres and writing styles can help you find what works for you and fits you the best.
There is a great book called 642 Things to Write About and it is simply what the name suggests: 642 things to write about. The book is written by many different authors who contributed different ideas for writing prompts. Writing a page or two everyday in this book is great if you do not have any ideas or have a terrible case of writer’s block. It is useful to use as a warm-up or to get your brain juices flowing.
Just remember you should never stop writing. Write about anything. Write about what you had for breakfast, and who knows, maybe your breakfast will become a bestselling book.
