Saying Goodbye to TV Shows
Have you ever had a T.V. show you really like end? Whether you thought it should have ended a long time ago or should be on for a little while longer? There are many shows ending this Fall/Winter premiere season. T.V. shows ranging from 12 years old to ones that had recently just started. Below is a list of four beloved shows that will be going off air very soon.
The first T.V show is Pretty Little Liars. This show has been on since 2009 and has grown a very large fan base since airing. It follows the lives of four teenage girls Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily who are stalked and terrorized by this mysterious person known as A. They start receiving text messages and warnings from A after their friend Allison dies which they find out later is very much alive and has close ties with A. In season 6, the five thought they had found out the identity of A but after the show did a five year time jump, the girls found out that maybe the person they thought was A really wasn’t. The first half of the final season, number 7, has already aired and is scheduled to wrap up the second half sometime in April. Hopefully the last part of the season will explain everything that has happened and will answer any remaining questions.
The second T.V show to end is The Vampire Diaries. This show has been on since 2009 and has come a long way from the first season. Some believed this show should have ended in season 7 when one of the main actresses Nina Dobrev, who played Elena Gilbert, left the show. If one of the main actresses is missing from the show, how is it supposed to continue? Somehow with the absence of Nina, the show producers figured it out and managed to get to the eighth and final season of the show. The show is about a girl named Elena who meets the Salvatore brothers, Damon and Stefan, who are vampires. When those two come to town everything just starts going haywire; Elena’s best friend Caroline becomes a vampire, Elena’s other best friend is a witch, her brother Jeremy in the next few seasons becomes a vampire hunter, their guardian Alaric is a vampire hunter, and Caroline’s boyfriend Tyler becomes a vampire/werewolf hybrid. The one person who managed to stay human or somewhat normal is Matt who is a friend of Elena and Jeremy’s. With all of that going on, the show managed to make some memorable characters like Klaus and Rebecca Mikaelson and Elena’s doppelganger Katherine, also known as Miss Crazy Pants. The final season started in October and is scheduled to end in March.
The next T.V. show to end is Grimm. This show has been on since 2011 and has managed to surprise viewers every season. This show is based on characters from the book Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Grimm is about Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt who finds out he’s part of a long line of powerful Grimms who are hunters that protect humanity from Wesen who look like normal, regular people but when they show their real face things tend to get messy. There’s some nice Wesen and some not so nice Wesen. Nick works his cases, which seems like their always Wesen related, alongside his buddies from work and a Wesen named Monroe who helps out any way he can. The sixth and final season of Grimm is expected to air in January.
The fourth and final show to end is Bones. The show has been on since 2005 and has gained and lost some beloved characters. There was a chance the show was going to end in season 11 but the network let the producers do one more season. The show is about forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan who works for the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington D.C. and is called in to work on FBI cases with Special Agent Seeley Booth of the Washington FBI office when the bodies of victims are too badly damaged to identify. The twelfth and final season of Bones airs in January.
May these shows end with closure and answers to long awaited questions!
