Four Quick Tips for Efficient Studying
As the school year is coming towards the halfway mark, finals seem far off into the distance but before you know it, they can creep up unexpectedly. Find out different study methods to tackle the final exam blues.
- Try to review the new material as soon as you can. For example, when you hear a lecture, reviewing and studying the material within the same day prevents 80% of the information being forgotten and it is easier to recall this information in the future.
- Don’t procrastinate! It is easier said than done, however interval studying is very beneficial regarding long term memory and for continuous good grades.

Additionally, avoid multitasking, be healthy emotionally and physically, try to work in a varied study environment, and activating metacognition–or being aware of your learning, are other fundamental ways for an efficient study experience.
