Captian America: Civil War
The newest installment of the Marvel Captain America franchise, Civil War, is slated for release on May 6. The movie takes place after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron with Steve Rogers leading the new Avengers team. After an incident involving the team and collateral damage, the government decided to place limitation on the team of superheroes.
Steve believes that the Avengers should be able to act without government interference in order to save the world. However, Tony Stark agrees with the government and believes that the Avengers should be put in check. An even larger rift is created between Steve and Tony once Captain America’s childhood friend, Bucky Barnes, reappears.
Bucky only adds more chaos to the mix and the superheroes that have saved the earth from Loki, aliens, and HYDRA are now divided. Captain America’s team includes Falcon, Hawkeye, Ant Man, the Winter Soldier, and Scarlet Witch. While Iron Man’s team contains Black Panther, War Machine, Black Widow, and Vision. With friend pitted against friend, this movie is sure to be explosive.
Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. have both reprised their roles as Captain America and Iron Man. Other cast members include Scarlet Johansson (Black Widow), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Paul Rudd (Ant Man), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Paul Bettany (Vision), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), and Don Cheadle (War Machine). New to the cast include Chadwick Boseman as Blank Panther and the young Tom Holland as the newest Spiderman.
So the question is: whose side are you on?
