Becoming an Entrepreneur
By Serra K.
An entrepreneur is a manager of a small business or someone who starts up a small business. People who become an entrepreneur take financial risks by buying licenses to start their business; if their business doesn’t work out then they essentially waste $228 annually because the average small business license cost is $19 a month.
First, becoming an entrepreneur is exploring the right job. People want to look for a job that gives them energy and is exciting; most people want to do something that they have wanted to do for a very long time.
Secondly, people plan their business and write down their ideas so they can target audiences. If people want to get ahead in marketing, I would suggest planning.
Third, people want to attract others to their business, so many people build a website. They also get t-shirts, cards, brochures, & sometimes they get magnets for the side of their cars.
Fourth, people sign up for fairs or shows to show off their product. If someone is doing sweets or cakes of some sort, I would suggest doing a bridal fair because brides want to know what their options are for cakes; I suggest the same for someone working with flowers.
Fifth, try to get someone who will fund your business. I have heard that “Kickstarter” is a great way to begin; you ask for a certain amount and people donate money so you can get it up and going. Also this is really a major one so it is something to work for: you can audition on the television show “Shark Tank” where the “sharks” or the funders may supply you money if they like your product and sales pitch.
These are the top 5 ways in becoming an entrepreneur, follow these 5 tips and it will be success from here on out.
